Berthoud's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Erickson, who scored 11 points along with five blocks and two steals. Erickson has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Declan Murphy, who scored 13 points.
Berthoud's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7. As for University, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Berthoud didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Bulldogs in their previous meeting on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 65-59 win.
