 Franklin Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kaden Barnes, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI. Another  was  Harris Merckle, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Franklin Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Southeast Alamance, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season.
 Franklin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeast Alamance, they will face off against South Lenoir on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Stallions 3.7, the Blue Devils 3.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
