Exeter-Milligan/Friend only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point they dealt the Griffin on Tuesday. Everything went Exeter-Milligan/Friend's way against the Griffin as the Bobcats made off with a 57-32 victory. The win was nothing new for Exeter-Milligan/Friend as they're now sitting on three straight.
Meanwhile, Johnson-Brock put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lourdes Central Catholic 70-16 on the road. Given Johnson-Brock's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Knights are ranked 182nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Johnson-Brock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camden Dalinghaus out in front who scored 20 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Brody Koehler, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Exeter-Milligan/Friend has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Johnson-Brock, their victory bumped their record up to 17-0.
Exeter-Milligan/Friend was taken down by the Eagles 76-45 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Exeter-Milligan/Friend was down 42-22.
