Zaiden Davis Dazzles in Centennial Victory
Zaiden Davis was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop Davis as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Centennial's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Davis and Centennial will head out to square off against Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Junior Medrano came into the matchup on a mission. He turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 33 yards and a touchdown.
The victory got Hobbs back to even at 4-4. Medrano and Hobbs will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

On Thursday, Alamogordo had to settle for second even though Dylan Hergenreder put up the best numbers he has all season. Hergenreder rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Alamogordo is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. Hergenreder and Alamogordo will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Rudy Rios was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop Rios as he rushed for 52 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.
This season, Rios has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 81 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.
