4A Cowapa recap Nov. 7, 2012
Banks extended the longest winning streak in 4A Cowapa this week by beating Central, 35-15. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Banks' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Graysen Partain threw for 137 and three touchdowns and Zach Olson had 96 yards receiving. On the ground Dakota Kemper chipped in 219 yards. Emmitt Vandehey helped Banks' passing attack out by catching one ball for 23 yards.
Scappoose's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Taylor Loss has thrown for 2211 yards and 34 touchdowns this season, while Paul Revis has 76 catches for 1396 yards. Carson Davison leads the league in rushing with 931 yards.
Ben Buchanan's team's Kemper is a mere 82 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Kemper has rushed for 918 yards on 130 carries so far this year.
Scappoose led the league in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Scappoose.
