The Krum Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Anna Coyotes at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Krum is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Last Tuesday, Krum beat Aubrey 42-30. Given Krum's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Aubrey is ranked 516th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anna has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Emerson 66-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Anna.
Among those leading the charge was Ayonna Cooper, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Valajah Jackson, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Krum is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Anna, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
