Trenton Marquart and Caleb Bullock provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Culver. The connection was good for 76 yards, the longest such play in 2A Tri-River this season.
Toledo led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Santiam.
Waldport's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Marquart has thrown for 625 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Kraig Pruett has 14 catches for 282 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Waldport takes on Regis. At the moment, the Irish are in fifth, while the Rams are in first.
Regis made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,361 from 5,906. The advance stemmed from a 33-25 victory over Kennedy last week.
