Wakefield has gone a perfect 7-0 against Enloe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wakefield Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against the Enloe Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Enloe will be up against a hot Wakefield squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Wakefield was the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over Apex on Wednesday. The Wolverines' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Aniela Piscorik spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Brenna Colleran was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Ella Dew also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Wakefield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Enloe never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Southeast Raleigh last Monday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 17-2 victory. Considering the Eagles have won three contests by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Madison Haga, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Kylan Wright was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Wakefield's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7 runs. As for Enloe, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-2.
Both Wakefield and Enloe just can't seem to miss. Wakefield has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Enloe struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Wakefield's way against Enloe in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, as Wakefield made off with a 13-0 win. Does Wakefield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Enloe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
