Kaston Vega Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Kaston Vega's big game helped extend Stamford's winning streak to six on Friday. Vega showed up in a big way, rushing for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

The win for Hawley keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Barker and Hawley will be playing at home against Olney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Camron McComack's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 123+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
This year, McComack has averaged 60.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 6.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 119 rushing yards.
