The Grandview Greyhounds had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They had just enough and edged East Valley out 36-34. That's another feather in the cap for Grandview, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grandview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Myla Armendariz, who scored five points along with six rebounds and four steals. Destinee Medina was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Grandview's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for East Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
