In what's become a running theme this season, the Jordan-Elbridge Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cazenovia 69-42 at home. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Jordan-Elbridge had established a 22 point advantage.
Abbie Ahern continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 23 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played. Ava Hildebrant was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Jordan-Elbridge is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Cazenovia, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.
Jordan-Elbridge has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Atoms at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Cazenovia, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
