Narraguagus is 8-2 against Jonesport-Beals since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Royals at 4:00 p.m. Narraguagus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Narraguagus fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Calais on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 7-6.

McKade Robertson was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 7.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Robertson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

In other batting news, Brody Robertson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Miles Worcester was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Jonesport-Beals was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Searsport. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked the Royals' highest-scoring contest to date.

Narraguagus' record now sits at 10-2. As for Jonesport-Beals, their record is now 0-8.

Narraguagus took their victory against Jonesport-Beals in their previous matchup on May 5th by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
