On Friday, the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades beat the North Central Knights 56-48.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Chambers/Wheeler Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 265 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Central only rushed for -1.
North Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandt Lezotte, who picked up 245 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Keian Fischer was another key player, throwing for 403 yards and seven touchdowns.
Chambers/Wheeler Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
