Last Thursday, Boulder City humbled Pahrump Valley with a 65-31 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 23 points or more this season.

Boulder City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sean Pendleton led the charge by putting up 11 points. Pendleton is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Aiden Birch was another key player, scoring 11 points.
Boulder City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Virgin Valley earned a 55-43 victory over Moapa Valley on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Boulder City better focus on containing Drew Dixon and Reece Leavitt as the pair were huge in Virgin Valley's win. Dixon posted 11 points and eight steals, while Leavitt earned 15 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Leavitt is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Elian Pinto, who put up 12 points.
Boulder City is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Virgin Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
Keep an eye on the arc in Monday's game: Boulder City has been dynamite from deep this season, having drained 35.9% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Virgin Valley, though, as they've only made 28.8% of their threes this season. Given Boulder City's sizable advantage in that area, Virgin Valley will need to find a way to close that gap.
