Leading Greenville to victory were Emma Veith and Katie Campbell. Veith scored 20 points along with four steals, while Campbell dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Shayna Henderson, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
The win (which was Greenville's third in a row) raised their record to 17-9. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Vandalia, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 15 of their last 18 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will face off against Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Vandalia, they will head out on the road to take on Roxana at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Roxana's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Vandalia has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
