The High Point Academy Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Spartanburg Day on Friday as High Point Academy made off with a 51-30 win. Winning may never get old, but High Point Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead High Point Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jerry Jones, who scored eight points. Jones hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Mallory, who scored 11 points.
High Point Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Spartanburg Day, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
