The Green Hope Falcons will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Cary Imps at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Green Hope strolled past Apex with points to spare, taking the game 60-46.
Green Hope's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Abigail Brown, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, and Chloe Lee, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 19 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lee has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Uma Surkund, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Cary scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 58-50 victory over Apex Friendship. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cary.
Green Hope's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Cary, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
Everything went Green Hope's way against Cary in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as Green Hope made off with a 48-27 victory. Will Green Hope repeat their success, or does Cary have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
