That was a full 42.3% of Argos' points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Zhayne Hellums, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Lakeland Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 38-29 to Trinity.
Despite the defeat, Lakeland Christian Academy had strong showings from Micah Martin, who scored 16 points, and Josiah Rice, who scored 11 points. Martin continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Friday's match will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Richard and Martin. Richard has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 22.7 points, 1.9 steals, and 8 rebounds. For his part, Martin has averaged 16.8 points.
