Bloomingdale (Valrico, Fla.) took the lead for good when
Lucas Jose kicked a field goal with 3:00 left in the fourth quarter and held on to beat
Alonso (Tampa, Fla.) 24-21 on Saturday.
The Bulls led 21-14 at halftime, but the Ravens recaptured the lead on a touchdown with 8:00 remaining in the fourth.
The loss comes after Alonso defeated Spoto 56-14 last week. The victory was a step in the right direction for Bloomingdale, which was coming off a 40-0 defeat at the hands of Plant City in its previous game. The victory snapped Bloomingdale's two-game losing streak.
