Having just played yesterday, the Daniel Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Travelers Rest Devildogs  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.

 Meanwhile, Travelers Rest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Tuesday as they fell  59-55 to Greer. While losing is never fun, the Devildogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 206th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 23rd).
 Daniel's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-7. As for Travelers Rest, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 13 of their last 15 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record  this season.
 Everything came up roses for Daniel against Travelers Rest in their previous matchup  back in January, as the  squad secured  an  88-58 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Daniel since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
