Drummond is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Seeley-Swan is on a two-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Drummond stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victor 69-30 on the road. Given Drummond's advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Victor is ranked 125th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Seeley-Swan beat Valley Christian 57-47 on Saturday.
Drummond's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Seeley-Swan, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Everything came up roses for Drummond against Seeley-Swan in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 74-46 win. Will Drummond repeat their success, or does Seeley-Swan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
