Manor New Tech had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Northeast Early College Raiders as they made off with a 22-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 back in March.

Lelani Ceballos was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Manor New Tech let Aaliyah Sinnie and Gabriella Guardiola run wild. Sinnie scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Guardiola scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Sinnie has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Alexis Sinnie was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Manor New Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .929. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Manor New Tech's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Northeast Early College, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Manor New Tech will challenge Eastside Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northeast Early College, they will face off against Lago Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight matchups.
