The Dover Tigers were the 20-14 winner over the Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Dover took a serious blow against Dwight Morrow on Friday, falling 44-6.
Jordan Moorer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dwight Morrow, rushing for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also catching a touchdown. Moorer is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. maurice williams also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Dwight Morrow, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Dover will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Cliffside Park at 6:00 p.m. on November 2nd. As for Dwight Morrow, they will square off against Pascack Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
