Shadow Creek has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Alief Taylor Lions at 7:10 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Wednesday just wasn't the day for Shadow Creek's offense. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 3-0 walloping at the hands of Alief Elsik on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Alief Taylor kept a clean sheet against Pearland on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Oilers. The win was just what Alief Taylor needed coming off of a 4-0 loss in their prior contest.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Bryan Fajardo, who's now up to three this season.
Shadow Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-2-2. As for Alief Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season.
