East Union has gone 8-2 against Central Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The East Union Lancers are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Catholic Raiders at 6:15 p.m.

East Union can't be too worried about heading out to take on Central Catholic: they just beat Sierra at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. East Union narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Sierra 2-1.

Ben Diaz and Alexis Machuca scored both of East Union's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor Oakdale could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. The result was nothing new for the Raiders as the team haven't won a game since December 11, 2024.

With that draw, Central Catholic's record moves to 2-13-1. As for East Union, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-7.

East Union came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Catholic when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Union since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
