This season hasn't been kind to the Georgetown Bulldogs, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They took a serious blow against Montgomery on Friday, falling 54-8. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Georgetown has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Montgomery to victory, but perhaps none more so than A Manson, who scored 14 points along with six assists and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for Manson. Another player making a difference was K. Wyatt, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Montgomery, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
Georgetown will face off against Claiborne Christian at TBD on Tuesday. Claiborne Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Montgomery, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buckeye at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckeye is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
