Joshua Greek continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 164 yards and four touchdowns. Kaiden Stewart was in the mix as well, providing the Rough Riders with two TDs.
Saginaw's run defense was locked in: South Hills could only muster 3.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Najae Nicholson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Saginaw didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.
Saginaw didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jahirim Skinner.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Chisholm Trail's strategy against Polytechnic on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Rangers blew the Parrots out of the water with a 64-0 final score. The game marked the Rangers' most dominant victory of the season.
Chisholm Trail's win came from a few key players Saginaw will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Xavier Rodriguez, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Taven Fleming, who rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

One reason for the win was Chisholm Trail's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as eight different players picked up one apiece.

Saginaw took their win against Chisholm Trail in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 35-13 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rough Riders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
