It was a good run, but the Fremont Packers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 80-31 defeat at the hands of Whitehall. Fremont has not had much luck with Whitehall recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Camden Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Whitehall, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Thompson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trannon Aylor, who scored 11 points.
Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Whitehall, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Fremont will head out on the road to face off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitehall, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Orchard View at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Orchard View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 506th, while Whitehall is ranked 13th).
