Basketball Recap: Hagan Henrichsmeyer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Odin/Patoka

Mulberry Grove lost to Odin/Patoka last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mulberry Grove Aces enjoyed a cozy 54-40 victory over Odin/Patoka.

Mulberry Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hagan Henrichsmeyer led the charge by going 5 for 6 on his way to 18 points. Henrichsmeyer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Logan Bauer was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win got Mulberry Grove back to even at 5-5. As for Odin/Patoka, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Mulberry Grove won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mulberry Grove is facing Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at the right time seeing as Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Odin/Patoka, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Woodlawn at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
