Clifton took a hard 32-17 fall against West on Tuesday. Clifton has struggled against West recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Cubs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Meagan Henderson, who scored four points along with two steals and two blocks.
Clifton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for West, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-1.
Clifton will be playing at home against Maypearl at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Maypearl is ranked 544th, while Clifton is ranked 549th). As for West, they will head out on the road to square off against Keene at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keene is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
