The dominant performance also gave Shirey a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases.
In other batting news, Tecumseh got a massive performance out of Lane Steward, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Steward a new career-high. Kadyn Prado was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
