The Riverside Beavers will face off against the North Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Riverside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully North likes a good challenge.
Riverside is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Kenston: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Riverside blew Kenston out of the water with a 73-43 final score. The Beavers pushed the score to 52-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bombers had little chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyle Harden, who posted 14 points. Harden is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Drew Brown, who put up 11 points and five assists.
Riverside was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kenston only racked up nine assists.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North). They were the clear victor by a 73-49 margin over Chardon on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rangers have posted since February 28, 2024.
Riverside better keep an eye on Nate Tadiello. He was instrumental in North's win, shooting 4-for-6 from long range and dropping a double-double on 35 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Tadiello a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Sagendorph, who earned nine points and six rebounds.
North's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Riverside hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 66.4 points per game. However, it's not like North struggles in that department as they've been averaging 56.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Riverside ended up a good deal behind North when the teams last played back in February of 2024, losing 78-59. Thankfully for Riverside, Sean Register Jr (who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 16 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
