Last Friday, Brook Hill earned a 48-38 win over Vanguard College Prep.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brook Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hill, who scored 17 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hill has scored at least a third of Brook Hill's points. Mylee Booth was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, McKinney Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 53-4 defeat at the hands of Dallas Christian. McKinney Christian Academy has struggled against Dallas Christian recently, as their matchup on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Brook Hill has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for McKinney Christian Academy, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-14.
Everything came up roses for Brook Hill against McKinney Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 61-15 victory. With Brook Hill ahead 34-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
