Fairview barely beat Mt. Pleasant the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fairview Yellowjackets were the clear victor by a 14-8 margin over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Aiden Pronk, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Cutler Coleman was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Pronk wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Fairview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Fairview now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Fairview will welcome Culleoka at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to take on East Hickman County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
