The Slidell Tigers will head out on the road to  face off against  the St. Charles Catholic Comets  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
Slidell blew Fontainebleau out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Wednesday Fontainebleau got their revenge. Slidell fell just short of Fontainebleau by a score of  7-5.
 Meanwhile, St. Charles Catholic had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gators  a   12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won five matchups by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 St. Charles Catholic's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14 runs. As for Slidell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
