Ruidoso won the last time they faced East Mountain and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Timberwolves a 22-0 shutout. Considering the Warriors have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Ruidoso and bumps their season record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.5 runs over those games. As for East Mountain, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ruidoso will head out to square off against Mescalero Apache at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Chiefs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for East Mountain, they will head out on the road to take on Sandia Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
