Nipmuc Regional dropped their record down to 17-2 on Thursday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons. The match marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, they pushed their record up to 25-2 with the win, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games.

For Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's part, Edy LaTour was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. LaTour has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May.

LaTour wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Moss, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Skye Harrison, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

As of now, neither Nipmuc Regional nor Dighton-Rehoboth Regional have any future games scheduled.
