A big part of Hoover's victory came down to the chemistry between Justin Brewington and his top target Keon Hill. Brewington threw for 324 yards and four touchdowns while Hill picked up 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hill was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 51 yards. A healthy portion of Brewington's aerial production (89 yards to be exact) also went to Pamir Oliver, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Hoover's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Woodlake, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Hoover is on the road again on Friday to play Selma at 7:00 p.m. Woodlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
