The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will take on the Juniata Indians at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Upper Dauphin Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season.
Upper Dauphin Area barely beat Greenwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by  a  7-1 margin over the Wildcats on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Trojans have posted  against the Wildcats since April 27, 2022.

Upper Dauphin Area got a  massive  performance out of  Colt Bellis, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. The Trojans are undefeated when  Bellis posts three or  more  RBI, but 4-9 otherwise.  Isaac Jackson was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Upper Dauphin Area  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile,  after soaring to 14  runs the game before, Juniata was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Wednesday. They lost  12-1 to Halifax.
 Juniata saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Caleb Auker, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Upper Dauphin Area's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-9. As for Juniata, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Upper Dauphin Area has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.8  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Juniata struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 7.3  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Everything went Upper Dauphin Area's way against Juniata when the teams last played  two weeks ago, as Upper Dauphin Area made off with  a  13-5 victory. Do  the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
