Christian Fellowship has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against Columbia Independent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Christian Fellowship was the victim of a tough 61-37 defeat at the hands of Sunnydale Academy.
Despite the defeat, Christian Fellowship had strong showings from Brooke Grathwohl, who scored 14 points, and Emma Kate Bradley, who scored 10 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The game was Grathwohl's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Columbia Independent was beaten by Tuscumbia 47-13 on Tuesday.
Christian Fellowship bumped their record down to 3-2 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.33 points. As for Columbia Independent, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Christian Fellowship against Columbia Independent in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 40-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christian Fellowship since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
