Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Trinity Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 62-26 loss at the hands of Celebration.
Mater Brighton Lakes Academy bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.4 points per game. As for Trinity Prep, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
