After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oldenburg Academy, the Hauser Jets were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against Clarksville by a score of 45-38.
Hauser's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Manley, who scored 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Manley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Kilps, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaliyah Watts, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emma Money, who scored five points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Clarksville were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Hauser's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Clarksville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hauser will play host again and welcome Morristown, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morristown is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Clarksville, they will be playing at home against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastern has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
