Basketball Recap: Pine View Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Pine View extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jelani Odjegba. The Pine View Panthers slipped by the Wasatch Wasps 62-61 on Friday thanks in part to Odjegba, who shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Adam Moore, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 19 points. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Pine View has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Wasatch, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Pine View has already played their next game, a 51-42 loss against Timpanogos on the 7th. As for Wasatch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-61 defeat against Riverton on the 7th.
