Dalton Walker Turns in Season-Best Effort
Elkhart was led to victory by Dalton Walker, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards.
Walker must have Buffalo's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Walker rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards the last time he and the Bison duked it out back in October of 2023.

Trystyn Tidrow Delivers Best Effort of Season
Trystyn Tidrow produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhart to the win on Friday. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
Tidrow and Elkhart will take on Arp at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Tidrow up against the Tigers' star quarterback Thomas Mckelvey. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Wallum Posts Huge Game in 50-6 Victory
Bryce Wallum was instrumental in extending Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Wallum as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Troup pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Wallum and Troup will be playing in front of their home fans against New Diana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Davyon Mapps Dazzles in New Diana Victory
Davyon Mapps was instrumental in extending New Diana's winning streak to six on Friday. Mapps turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.
On the season, Mapps has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 79.17 rushing yards per game.

Troup Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Brett Wells
Brett Wells's big game helped extend Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Wells was dynamite, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Wells must have Winona's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Wells rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in October of 2023.
