Basketball Recap: Everett Extends Winning Streak to Three

Everett had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ferndale Golden Eagles as they made off with a 40-20 win. The Seagulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Everett now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ferndale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coming up, Everett will head out on the road to square off against Marysville-Pilchuck at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferndale, they will welcome Mount Vernon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
