The Master's Academy Eagles will take on the Orangewood Christian Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Master's Academy proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tavares, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since February 20th.

Reagan Peri
03/24/25 vs Tavares | 9 |
03/13/25 vs Lake Highland Prep | 13 |
03/11/25 @ Pine Ridge | 10 |
03/06/25 @ Lyman | 12 |
03/04/25 vs Merritt Island Christian | 5 |
Reagan Peri spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Master's Academy let Kamryn Mennenga and Emily Martin run wild. Mennenga went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Martin went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits Martin has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Zoe Rodriguez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Master's Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.4.
Meanwhile, Orangewood Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Trinity Christian Academy on Monday, taking the game 8-4.
Mai TellezMartinez made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. TellezMartinez was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caroline Putt, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Mercedes Evers was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Master's Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Orangewood Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Master's Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Orangewood Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Master's Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Orangewood Christian in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 5-4. Does Master's Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Orangewood Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
