Basketball Recap: Mcclintock Skates Past Alhambra with Ease

McClintock's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Alhambra Lions, posting an 88-57 victory. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading McClintock to victory were Joshua Mcmanaway and Kyler Frye. Mcmanaway went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and eight rebounds, while Frye went 8 of 12 on his way to 18 points along with eight assists and three steals. Frye's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyzaya Soto, who posted nine points and six assists.

McClintock's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Alhambra, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

McClintock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-58 loss against Carl Hayden Community on the 12th. As for Alhambra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 57-47 defeat against Fairfax on the 12th.
