The biggest upset of the week belonged to Seminole County, who took down 206th ranked Miller County, 20-0.
The Indians moved up to 215 from 244 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in A Region 1. Seminole County was able to make move up by beating the Pirates 20-0.
On the ground, Mitchell County's Jaquan Williams has rushed for 737 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jocquil Chester. The Mitchell County star has 10 catches for 219 yards.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Indians and the Eagles face off next week. Jakhari Martin has thrown for 348 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Tremel Emanuel has terrorized opposing QBs to the tune of five sacks.
A big matchup in A Region 1 this week will be when Seminole County takes on Mitchell County. The Indians are in second place, while Larry Cornelius' team is in fourth place.
There should be lots of points scored when Seminole County and the Eagles face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Indians comes in having scored 238 this season, while Mitchell County has scored 235. Seminole County scored 20 points last week as it beat Miller County.
The Indians extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Pirates, 20-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for Seminole County.
