The North Henderson Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Carson Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
North Henderson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Concord. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 25-21.

North Henderson relied on the efforts of Brie Barnett, who had 16 digs and three assists, and Katie Ruminski, who had nine digs, three aces, and one block. What's more, Ruminski racked up 38 assists, the most she's had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Lyda, who had nine digs and one assist.
Meanwhile, Carson made easy work of South Rowan on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.
While Carson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-15.
Carson found their leader in sophomore Carmen Graham, who had eight digs and two aces.
Carson's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for North Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 11-21.
