Accelerate Christian had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the All Saints Episcopal School Patriots by a score of 44-37 on Tuesday. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, All Saints Episcopal School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Breanna Simons dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Simons a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ella Mendez, who posted ten points and six steals.

Accelerate Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for All Saints Episcopal School, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
